Hello from your Supporters Trust.

Over the past 12 months the Viking Supporters Co-operative have been working hard on our members behalf to work towards our aims & objectives and improve the overall match-day experience for all Rovers fans. We also have regular communication with the club through several channels to make sure our members questions and opinions are heard. Some of our achievements over the last 12 months include:
  • funding a big-screen advertisement and organising a match-day mascot package to raise money for our official charity partner, Firefly Cancer Awareness and Support
  • raising £300 for Bluebell Wood through the sale of James Coppinger Mugs
  • helping establish the IRWT fan panel with the aim of bringing supporters together to improve the match-day atmosphere
  • promoting national campaigns that affect Rovers fans, such as the FSF Twenty's Plenty campaign
  • "remembering Belle Vue" - designing and purchasing bespoke wallpaper to cover two walls in the Belle Vue Bar
  • helping the club with "My Local Scream", a halloween experience for younger fans
  • liaising with local bus companies to help co-ordinate the express bus service after home games to help fans get back to the town centre
  • sponsoring Aaron Taylor-Sinclair for the 2015/16 season
  • working with Barratt Homes to appropriately name the roads on the new housing development at Belle Vue and also create a lasting monument on the site
  • working in partnership with DRFC Supporters Club to pay for for a plaque (now in the Belle Vue Bar) and trophy to commemorate James Coppinger's Testimonial Year
  • working in partnership with DRFC Supporters Club to pay for the James Coppinger LEGEND Flag, now on permanent display in the South Stand
  • creating an online shop to raise funds for the trust and the charities we support
  • continuing to liaise with Supporters Direct and the Football Supporters Federation (FSF), who together have links with the majority of football fans groups across the UK and Europe
  • raising funds for Doncaster Rovers Youth Team

Of course simply having a functional supporters trust is a good thing for any football club, even when things at the club seem rosy, yet we still want to do more - more for our members, more for our local community, and more for our club. And to achieve our aims we simply need more members!

We would like to invite you to join YOUR supporters trust now for just £12. That's less than 1 bag of chips a month! Simply click here to join now using your debit card or PayPal account.

Becoming a VSC member not only gives you a share in the trust and allows us to work together towards our aims for the benefit of all Rovers fans and the local community, but also allows you to take part in this year's AGM, which is taking place on 21st November at 11am in the Belle Vue Bar (click here for more info).

Thanks for reading, and we hope to see you at the AGM on the 21st November!
