Explains why I never saw him out on the pitch on Saturday, as all others were out training.

Makes sense, especially after the way our midfield are shaping up and returning players just strengthen it even further

Good move he will only miss 3 games with us due to international break. Gets fit and they pay his wages

Was it Payne who caused the injury to Thomas in training last week?  Obviously not implying that this is related to him going out on loan.

He was out warming up with Robbie Clark prior to the rest of the squad coming out, the same as he was for the game against Bristol City !

tres bien.

Saw young master Clarke, but not Payne pre Hull. We kept mistaking Sam for Payne at one point.

Good decision.

We've got a hard midfield to break in to, so a spell out on loan won't do him any harm - it'll be better than benchwarming for us anyway. He should do well in League 2 aswell, and Oxford are a good club, so I think it suits everyone.
