With Lennon signing target Alan Gow in England yesterday where he was believed to be talking with Doncaster Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday while Motherwell remain keen on his signature, it looks like Saints’ hopes of signing the former Ranger are receding.

Swindon Town have ended their interest in Alan Gow after the Scotsman demanded a 'considerable increase' from the personal terms that had already been agreed with between the two club.

He can play as a striker or attacking midfielder so maybe he would play the Hayter role?

But unless its been agreed in the transfer window we cannot sign him on loan for a season now or to the next window. We can only bring loans up to 91 days only
ie 3 months. This will occur starting in a weeks time. Therefore Rob, when Gartom said Two/ Three loans were agreed, they were not??? otherwise we would have announced season or 6 month loans for the players.

Alan Gow is a free agent this means even though the deadline has passed we could still sign him.
