Why? SOD has made it well known he is happy at Rovers, he would not go running off to a team where they have just sacked a manager for trying to play on the floor football.

Martin O'Neill and Sven have already held talks and further talks being held today. Doubt SO'D will be considered, thankfully.

I will be more concerned however once McMiddlesboro sack Ginner Strachan.

Leicester would be the worst club for SO'D to go to. It is not the place for a manager who needs time to build something- which is precisely what Sousa was trying to do. I wonder if he regrets leaving Swansea, who seem a more stable outfit willing to give managers time.

I agree that Middlesbrough could be more of a worry. Steve Gibson does believe in giving managers time (there's very few clubs where a manager with a record like Strachan's would still be in post.) However, if they appointed SO'D (or Sousa for that matter) they'd have to be prepared to write this season off. I doubt they're prepared to do that.

Wouldn't surprise me if Alan Pardew went to the Walkers.
