Actually, the report says his brother has just signed for West Ham. That "brother" will be Mohamed Diame (ex Wigan) so it will be Diame, not Diode.

Good, if we can get a good player or two in who cares what the source is?  I'd be quite happy with a couple of international players if they're good enough.  It's about the player being good enough.  Last season players like Robert, Fortune, Bagayoko (until he got injured) added something i thought, much more than one or two others anyway.  But it's about getting the right ones in and I think Saunders would be keen to learn from that aswell.

I await the usual complaining though, but I'm willing to give any player a chance.  I mean we've had plenty of useless English players in the past afterall, the nationality makes no difference IMO.

It's up to them to earn a contract by showing what they can do, the difference from the Illunga's of this world is that they are young and hungry looking to earn the big bucks in England rather than someone who had done it and already made their wedge. I have no problem in players using us as a stepping stone as long as the toll they pay in both performance and transfer fee benefits us.
