He was sat on the back row of the stand behind our fans for the first half on Saturday.
We should maybe have asked him.  :)

Dickov said McCombe has had a hairline fracture in his spine since his Huddersfield days, and has been playing through the pain ever since, but you can only go on so long managing it, so they've decided to let it recover properly before he plays again. Or something like that.

No great loss

Decent (just) in league one but the championship will again be a step too far

Agreed Bedale.
PD said 3 months in the interview that was linked on here the other day.
Spurr centre half? (If he signs on) and Husband left back? We're not spoilt for choice. At the moment obviously

There were certain games he was a colossus last season.  I think we will miss him.  He might have no pace, but I like him.  He has guts and works hard.

But both Bristol city and 'udderfield moved him on when promoted so he must know what is coming

Got a good collection of league medals though!

Almost a defensive version of Leo Fortune-West!

Certainly a miss though given our numbers at the moment although hopefully thats set to change.

No they didn't. He played 36 games in the Bristol City team that reached the Championship play-off final in 2007/8, and 28 appearances the following season, and he didn't leave Bristol City until 2010 by which point they'd been in the Championship for 3 years.

Did well to get through his medical then didn't he.
