Balance

After having a discussion on another post about the balance of our squad last night. I realised that last night (correct me if I am wrong) we had 3 players in the squad that are left footed. Steer being 1 so that doesn't count, Evina and Tyson who was on the bench. Now I'm not saying go out and spend this and that because obviously we don't have the funds to do so but, it would be interesting to know the views on whether or not it would make a difference to the team or any team if you had a left footed LB, LM and LCM?

Personally I think a LCM is hard to come by but, if you have that sort of balance and a left footed player was running towards the left hand side they wouldn't have to change direction if they were to switch play or cross the ball like a right footed player would? So I think in terms of going forward in posession it could make a lot of difference.

I'm not so sure about that. Dickov wants passing football not hoofball, and we hardly have a prolific header of the ball to aim at anyway.

Daniel Day-Lewis was left footed in 'My Left Foot', and could play in midfield better than Furman.
