Coppinger Interview
« on October 23, 2014, 04:53:30 pm by GazLaz »
Just listened to Coppingers interview from after the Orient match, he is another one that has come out and said that basically the budget is shit and PDs hands are tied. Who do we believe, him and Richie or the Club and The VSC?

That does not give them an excuse to perform poorly.

Playing side Average wage L1 =2K week, Average squad numbers 25, Average support staff numbers 6 Average cost 800 week each. Few youngsters on 300 a week.
Rest of staff say 25K each per annum, say 10 number. Lo and behold 3 million to be average.

Is it only on Player, Gaz, or is it "free to air?" I'd be interested to hear what he had to say.

Has he really said that or is the context lost in para-phrasing it?

They can all moan about budgets but from our starting XI teams last season we still have Wabara, McCullough, Jones, Copps, Wellens, Furman, Keegan, Forrester and Robinson.

True a lot of good players have left but this is not August 1998 and we are not picking up Kevin McIntyre at the service station en route to Dover.

Truth is that nobody has a f***ing clue what style of football we play, what the formation should be and worst of all how to remotely defend as a cohesive unit. Oh and if anyone finds vertebrae scattered on Bawtry Road can they return them to the KMS so we can put together the backbones that have been missing since circa May 2013.
