Club Doncaster ( cover story of the book / Film ) appearing shortly.

Football is unlike any other business in the world, it only has to have a product to sell , doesn't need to be successful, and investors queue to plough some money in.
Aston Villa prime example, how much did learner pay he has no success at club, but is expected to profit by 100 million when he pulls out.
With world wide exposure now,( not the sky deal or BT deals ) the clubs, everyone in Premiership, will receive a minimum 1/4 of a billion £, yes 250,000,000 per season.
Is that not worth risking a few million for. Bet lots of American investors will come across.

Gs states there's big cutbacks and he's not happy with it, then the belles announce a good sponsorship deal, very strange indeed, also the dons have been told to trim too, although that's not public they have, looks like there signing all young kids too, long hard season for them too

Go on then, point where GS says that!

FYI the Dons have been using Super League youngsters for a few years now, something along the lines of duel registration of the player, you appear to be scaremongering for the sake of it!

Well that does seem to be very clear re the Belles budget cuts and even if they were promoted the budget would be the same but the Dons have been using dual registration for a while so at the vague risk of making 5 Rovers, and Belles suffer budget cuts it would be a pretty fair assumption the Dons will too and anybody else under the Sporting Club Donny umbrella, is that handball club still going

Belles aren't owned by Club Doncaster. Only Rovers, Dons and the Handball team.

However they come under the Club Donny umbrella which may well have some influence regarding finance, it may not to be fair, but I've doubt we will never know

Fao FILO, why not ask some of the dons players?? I think you'll find out.. As for stainiforth that's what he's said so what's your problem?? Obviously harsh facts are unacceptable and our gracious owners surely wouldn't do this????

Is there any appetite in the town for club doncaster?

In fact is there any appetite in doncaster for sport at all?

In pains me to say it but I don't think there is really. People seem only to be interrested in the continual success of teams they will prob never get to see for real such as Man U or Chelsea

It's a sad sad state of affairs but kind of makes the cost cutting understandable

Why is Club Doncaster getting grief for the budget cuts at the Belles? Its nothing to do with them. Club Doncaster sponsor them in plenty of other ways without being the actual owners.

I care Red. So do a surprising number of others. Maybe not in your parochial, sexist, chauvinist and ignorant circle. But outside of it, there are enough to make a difference.
