There needs to be clarity in what people are voting for. Two polls asking for people to vote for songs is going to lead to confusion.  I think it's a good idea playing 'fans choice' song prior to the teams coming onto the pitch... but it needs to distinguish itself from what this thread is about, and that is a specific song (anthem) of longevity.

Do you feel confused by this?  I thought it was clear.  Filo is asking for ideas for an anthem, and I was just commenting that the club have agreed we can have a song played before kick off, and link it to a vote on here.  There should be no confusion, as the poll isnt even posted up on here yet (and wont be until the week before the Wolves game)

I hope that clarifies things, and Sif can kiss my hairy butt! ;-)

I'm not sure where I said I was confused by this... I pointed out that it might lead to confusion, which it already has because people are posting videos in this thread that are relevant to your idea.

The point is that this thread was set up for anthem nominations so over the summer we could have a vote and finally as a fan base agree on one anthem to push for getting played on a regular basis.
Rob is what you discussed intented for an anthem on a regular basis or a song for the team to come out to for the one game voted on.

This thread was set up by filo after the other thread re: impossible dream was agreed by nathan that if there were a few anthem suggestions to could get a poll and then try to get the winner played at the start of the season.
I think that is where the confusion lies as people are posting up songs as apposed to an anthem.
