Dead vivid it was.

I was in Rhino's in Bentley following Fridays fantastic 3-1 Rovers victory over L**ds, when a big, fat, bald headed drunken bloke with a L**ds top on came up to me. He was very challenging, but being the type who likes a challenge, I decided to bite the bullet, before he did!

It was obvious he'd watched the game in the pub, because of his crimson beer sodden face which made him look like he'd been apple bobbin in a chip pan. It wasn't long before I realised there was more brains on the rippers hammer than in his head. He told me that not many people argued with him since  he'd learned to fight at the local tractor factory before it shut down. My comment that he'd been 'case hardened' went straight over his inebriated head. (thankfully!)

He asked me if I ever went on Facebook. "Yes, In fact I'm considered a bit of a 'face' on Facebook. I bet you're regarded similarly........ on Twitter, aren't you" I asked, thinking surely he's not bright enough to understand the remark.........He wasn't, thank god!

There was a pause in the conversation when the barman was giving the quiz answers out on the microphone.
"The English lighthouse keeper's daughter, famed for participating in the rescue of survivors from the shipwrecked Forfarshire in 1838, was......... Grace Darling".

On hearing this the L**ds fan said "How the F*ck can a grey starling rescue people"?

Next thing he staggered out of the pub. suddenly there was a rumpus outside. A few moments later someone came running in and  said  "can I use your phone? There's been an accident.  That  L**ds fan who just staggered out of the pub has tripped and  gone flying, banging his head on the pavement. He's rolling over in agony". I said "what's wrong with your own phone?  He said "the cameras shite on mine"!

Soon he got up, and staggered off towards the Bay 'oss to finish off!

So all was well....None more so that Rovers Andy Williams, who got a brace, and Copps, who got the third.
