If what you're saying is that Copps and co should tell the decision makers they want Jones then I don't agree with you. How many shopfloor workers have a say in who manages them?

 I have to disagree graingrover...The players had there chance to show them on the pitch...And despite what he says they have been Awful...simply Awful..Coppinger can count himself lucky he's getting a shirt..I've seen no real improvement under Jones if anything for me its worse...

I agree with Wing Commander. I like Jones and wouldn't begrudge him getting the job because he gives his all to the club. I wonder though how many of us have blurred vision based on that sentiment.

He said the last three weeks have been brilliant under Jones and there's been a massive improvement on and off the pitch.
Does he realise they've won one game in six and lost three under Jonah?
What's his definition of massive?
In fact there hasn't been any improvement at all when it comes to results.
In Dickov's last six games we won one and lost two over ninety minutes, or won two and lost three if you count the overall result of the two cup games.
We definitely need an outside appointment because I think some of the players are in the comfort zone and need a kick up the backside.
I happened to be speaking to an ex-professional who played at the top level today and asked him about Clark and Redfearn with them being at the York match.
He said the former was a miserable so-and-so who loved himself and Redfearn had a reputation of being a soft touch for the players at Leeds.
Surely we have to do better than that.
He actually asked me if Glynn Snodin had been shortlisted and when I asked why, after saying I had no idea, he just remarked that he was the best coach he'd worked with and thought he would do a good job.
Let's hope he gets an interview.
