For me he's the sort of player that has the promise to go on to much higher things but may equally just slide back down the leagues.

Warburton may just be the manager to get the best out of him.
I think he is the type of player that needs constantly to be told how good he is. A luxury player like Taabat at QPR was, but a match winner on his day.
Such a shame he we haven't seen the best of him consistently, but I fear someone else will.

Some of that defending is comical. Especially Hib's two goals.

The bloke looks to have the talent and ability to be a great Player and has changed games for us but could not / did not manage it again and again as the average fan like me would want to see

So for me the Jury is still out .... this move may be the making of him and good luck to him as he has everything (still) to play for. As for us I can see nothing but positives and as we have been without him for a fair while for reasons we can only guess at -  imo we will not miss him and have already "moved on" as a Team / Club

Were on track to move back to where we belong playing in the top tier again so hopefully he can add some more spark to the team!

The move could be the making of him, of course. If he does well I'm sure he'll get a lengthy contact up there. Rangers are pretty well nailed on for promotion and with a bit of strengthening they will be pushing Celtic and Aberdeen next season.

Put it this way, I doubt Harry would have got a top end Championship club down here.

Well, I've heard some bizarrely hyped-up claims from football fans over the years, but I think that hearing a second tier side from a tiny, consistently under-achieving province claim to be the world's most successful club might just take the biscuit.

Unless they mean most successful at tax-dodging...

If you take as the measure of success trophies won, then Rangers do have a claim to be the world's most successful club. However it isn't really a very good measure. It puts the Scottish League Cup on the same level as the European Cup!

Yes it is ironic that 10 years or so back (perhaps a bit more) there was talk of Rangers and Celtic playing in the English game and the talk was - where would they enter the Pyramid

Right at the top due to their support base ? Tier 2 so that the Top tier Clubs would not have their feathers ruffled too much or be forced into Relegation to make way for the Big 2 from North of the Border - or the Third tier was also considered so they would have to legitimately work their way up and earn their places in the Premier League

I don't think there is any doubt now where the start in point would have to be *

* I realise of course that this would probably never happen under the current UEFA rules

The highest they should ever be allowed in is league 2 and even that wouldn't be right,
