The way we are dropping like a stone maybe we should ground swap?

If we are taking in the Knights surely it'd make sense to have the Dons playing at Castle Park in the interim?

Aye they have played a few games there. Photo attached.

Personally I REALLY hope the Knights can go all the way but I am not underestimating the task they face as Carnegie will be no push-over (no pun intended) and then Bristol will just be so DESPERATE to make it "back where they belong" and they too will be formidable opponents (lets hope TOO desperate)

BUT - as with Rovers where there's life there's hope and I for one will be ECSTATIC if the Knights do it which will put the icing on the cake when Rovers survive as well. COYR / K

Sorry for the clichés throughout ! I will make a Football Manager yet and keep Philsky / Yorkiered away from the respective Grounds !

Surprising Odds though

Just looked at the outrights for the Playoffs and have found :

Bristol @1/6 to be Promoted to the Premiership

Yorkshire Carnegie @ 6/1

Doncaster Knights @ 8/1

Bedford Blues @20/1

The only realistic odds there at Bedford Blues who I do not think will beat Bristol over 2 legs and then whoever wins the other Semi as well. They have made it plain they don't want to go up

Amazingly Carnegie come before Knights and in the first leg at Headingley on Sunday the Knights can be backed at 2/1 against whilst Carnegie are 4/9 ON. OK they did beat Knights there early in the Season but 2/1 may be a good bet and I hope over the 2 Legs COYK will triumph and go on to meet Bedford in the Final (not a typo - a fervent hope)

The betting reflects the 'big club' effect Wolfie. The Knights should be clear favourites to win against Leeds/YC
Reminds me of 2008 when Rovers were a far better team than Leeds but the bookies had them as long odds on.

Won't matter. Doncaster will not get promoted but he articlr did in principle get them a ground that would pass the required limit..Keepmoat v Headingley ??????

It could happen, The Knights won the first leg at Headingley  30-17 so could get through to the final.  The Dons also won at Hunslet, makes our weekend even worse in some ways, but good luck to both of them.

Bristol are the best side by a furlong. Anything is possible I suppose.

Didn't knights win away at Bristol and only lost in injury time at home

The Knights shut the Brizzle home crowd up good and proper too. It wasn't even close.
