I know I was at least hoping for a Redknapp or Pardew...

From what I have seen in the snips of recordings on TV it seems a skillful and intelligent reporter has taken advantage of  less intellectually gifted & less educated football Managers by the use of flattery [offering a perfectly legitimate inflated fee for being a 'key note speaker'] then, once the bait is taken and the confidence established thrown in a few more dubious offers which the victim is primed to go along with. This is the tactic of con men the world over. Whereas this does not in anyway exonerate the guilty you could argue that it is not their fault that a lot of football types are gullible and a bit thick. In the case of England the FA can be blamed for appointing Dumbo as manager.

I know someone who was in the same hotel abroad as Allardyce and his players a few years ago.
They said that the majority were badly behaved and that Big Sam was the worst.

Badly behaved? He's not a child!

He's always been arrogant, smug and a bit of a t**t (albeit a pretty effective manager) but I think what this has really shown is that he's nowhere near as clever as he thinks he is.

Harry Redknapp looks like being tomorrow's main course.

He knew about his players betting on themselves to win.

Is that all they got??

The stories are getting weaker every day.

Feeble. If that's the best they can do I think it's time to call off the dogs.

Just going back to what I said a few weeks ago about Barnsley and the Stones windfall.

Can't trust a Dingle with money.

Wright would have been straight down shops with that 5k to get new tin bath, clogs and tub of dripping.

Tommy Wright's a decent guy. Don't think any Barnsley fans will care if he's taken a bung, given what he's achieved over the last 10 months or so.

The Barnsley fans now hate the guy. Setting up getting rid of their best players to line others pockets. They Ought the club was building something good,  not someone inside it with a plan on dismantling it.
