I was rightly branded today as a Ref basher / hater and I cant disagree. I gave the bloke today a 1

I cant remember what that equates to but he was "crap" from start to finish. In the first minute of a game a tackle that was designed PURELY to break up play (cynical) and was dangerously high SHOULD have been a cast iron Yellow Card. It was ducked by the Ref. Too early ? If it is that bad a challenge it is a Card whenever the foul is committed.

Vinnie Jones was booked once after 8 seconds so it can be done. Joey Barton was sent off after 17 seconds for a second  bookable offence (I made that one up)

Andy Butler was Carded for half a foul right at the end of the First Half - yet one of their blokes did a much more cynical foul in almost the same spot late in the Second Half which produced NO Card. Totally inconsistent

Hand balls were ignored including one by their Right Back in First Half (East Stand side) which I said would be the most blatant one today. WRONG Marquis eclipsed that first Hand Ball when palming himself past the last man. Neither spotted by the Ref nor the respective Linos

I give up - they were all crap 1 Point not that they will read this or be bothered !

A very poor display. Had he booked a few earlier we might have seen a bit more football.
We were far more assured than them for most of the game.

He should gave booked the player who hacked Marquis down for the free kick that brought about the goal.
That was the first of his many mistakes.
A one from me.
