Grimsby away allocation

2200 behind the goal. Although i remember a couple years ago going for that cup game where we took them by surprise and took over 2500 resulting in the side stand having to be opened.

I reckon we might need this again. I can see this game being an away sell out, if not an outright whole ground sellout.

Read somewhere that Grimsby only allocate 1800 now.  Needless to say it will sell out.

They probably rule out that ghastly corner section in what is already a pisspot stand now, reducing the capacity.

The urinals/toilets at the back of stand would also probably win awards for the most dreadful in the league currently.

only 1800, the tickets will go very quickly i suspect.

Anyway we can sell tickets in sections for those who want to stand and those who want to sit to avoid problems?

I remember going there with the crappy bit of terracing in the corner opposite their main stand. Midweek game in November, crap game, crap view, freezing cold and lost 5-0. I think it was Keith Alexander who scored an hat-trick.

Does anyone have the highlights of the game we won 4-3 there on the last day of the season in 1979. It was on ITV Big Match. They had won promotion but I think Jack Lewis scored a hat-trick for us.
