Just checking back over the last 7 seasons in League 2 & 85 points has been the maximum the 3rd place team has achieved so maybe 30 or so more points from the last 20 games & we won't be far away, title would be the icing on the cake obviously. Great win today, would have taken a point before kick off, well done lads.

Yep 86 should be enough.
To finish on that points total, in the final 20 games we need to pick up points at the same rate that Colchester have done so far this season.

We need to continue and get to 86 pts at around the 41 game mark then go for the 100 pts set Rovers history.

Just had a bit of an examination on the remaining fixtures for the top 6 and I reckon 84pts should be enough for auto.

So 9 wins and 2 draws gets us 84. Anything more than that and we're competing to be Champions. I would have thought more than possible.

Every time we win another game the points required decreases as does the points per game average..

Fergie wants 2 points per game - that will get us promoted.. exceed that by 4-7 points and you're talking champions, fall short by 6-7 (or maybe more) and 3rd is realistic..

It is a good place to be in with 20 games left..

The good thing is it's in our hands. I don't think DF will allow them to get complacent. It also sounds like the players are driving each other on in the knowledge there's now healthy competition for places.
