A-mazing! Great spirit. One of the teams I'll always dislike, but a heartfelt congrats for today.

Cup run could derail their promotion push.

I think they'll cope. Assuming they do, it's a big test of their management investing in the right players and blending the team to make a push for League 1.

No, he means next season.

They are currently in the National League and not out of there yet, a bit premature to talk about a promotion push to L1, it is like saying we are set up for a promotion push to the Championship.

Amazing result. Good for them.

I'm a bit envious because I've never seen us do owt in the FA Cup.

If they do get into L2 next season I reckon Keegan will be with them.

...he did say "assuming they do" in fairness.

Love the pic/avatar of Sarge and Barton - he bit off more than he could handle that day

Me too. I think it every year when watching the FA cup giant killings how I'd love us to go to a big club away and get a result.  Obviously the league is the number one priority every year.. but a good cup run would be great.

hope they get a good draw in the quarter-final and its not Millwall . they would take big numbers if they drew a big club away.

Elbow never touched his face. It was just a case of Joey Barton being Joey Barton. He actually made a stamp on the Lincoln player completely unprovoked then tried playing the victim.

Yes mate ,had to rub my eyes to taken what I had just seen as a player like Barton would be the last player you think of play acting .

When bt sports re played the scene straight after you then noticed Barton stamp on rheeds foot on purpose ,this is what you expect from Barton and that's part of the game I guess

But when he went down in a heap and claiming Rheed had smashed him in his face going on his play acting needs to be looked at by fa and stamped out.a

I've seen it a few times and it looks like he gets elbowed to the side of his head. Not play acting...

I don't think the stamp is accaptable on the basis that "it's part of Bartons game."
It was unprovoked and out of order. He should have seen red and faced a lengthy ban for both the stamp, and the playacting that followed.

From what I saw rheed had is back to Barton and had no idea where Barton was as rheed was  trying to get his point across to the ref about Barton's antics

Rheed type of points his arm in a downwards backwards motion and saying " did you not see what Barton did back there" type of statement

and this is where Barton goes into munchin mode to  make contact
with rheeds arm that is allready pointing down and backwards into the ground ,there was no swing movement in rheeds arm at all .

I think it was hilarious he had to play the big man and stamp on people etc against lowly opposition. He should have not needed to resort to such "tactics"

However I am sure he allegedly put a Cigar / Fag out in a young players eye so I suppose that is how he operates - Ref: Wikipedia

I think we're on about two different instances.

Unlike Hylton on JM that arm was straight as he was either going to point or throw his arms out to appeal.
Just my opinion of course.
