He was bad. The things that's pissing  me off every game this season is they don't do anything at all in regards to blatant time wasting. It ruins the game also. Maybe the FA should concentrate on how to cut times wasting out and feigning injury instead of what foam they use next season.

Don't expect anything else from Deadman. He's consistently inconsistent. Never seen him have a decent game with us yet.

Seconded!
No mystery as to why they have the worst disciplinary record in the league - head it up in the air and then commit some kind of assault while waiting for the ball to come down again.
Ref was truly hopeless!

BobG ... Just search for him on Rate the Ref - you will see every game he has done for us. Mostly rubbish and today he was consistent CRAP from start to finish

He tries to let the game flow and it just does not work.

Their forward should have been sent off just before half time.

Don't normally comment on refs as it tends to even itself out, but this guy was truly awful. there is nothing wrong with being physical & Luton were certainly that, but there were blatant fouls going on & he gave our players absolutely no protection whatsoever, he was like a twelfth man for them, there were times when I wouldn't been surprised if they had picked the ball up & started running with it, rugbyesque. It was like when you were a kid on the school field & the team 6-0 up got no decisions, while the teacher let the losing side do whatever they wanted. Shocking performance.

Looks like Houghton out for while with knee injury. Ferguson says he is worried.

I don't usually care too much about refereeing performances, but today I make an exception.

It honestly felt like a conspiracy against us at times. Seemed like one rule for us and another for them, and they are one of, if not the scummiest team I've seen at our place. Yet officially we committed more fouls than they did. Work that one out.

He's probably travelling home on the Luton team coach as we speak.

I am right in saying it was their manager bleating about Portsmouth fans singing that one of his players broke a leg....Well on today WELL DONE POMPEY FANS. Luton nothing but Dirty. all their players have a Rovers shirt which they ripped off players backs

Ref was as poor for them as much as he was for us.
How he didn't see that blatant foul by Alcock in the first half I don't know as it was almost a rugby tackle.
He missed loads of very physical challenges throughout the match.
But at least he was consistently bad to both teams unlike the last two referees we have had at Newport & Carlisle.

Don't agree. He was totally inept. I haven't got time to list all the incidents worth noting but I wish I had. If an assessor saw a replay of that performance he would surely be struck off the list. One of the worst displays by a referee I have ever seen. It's not possible to be consistently that bad unless he hates Rovers or Luton had paid him off.

You obviously we're not at Newport then as they were far worse than Luton.
The ref there was worse believe me. Gave us no protection at all.
Most refs would have given 2 straight red cards fo assault, one didn't even get a yellow.
