« on February 23, 2017, 08:32:18 pm by not on facebook »
Score flash * * * Tottenham 1 genk 1 * * Kane og

Genk now 2-1 up in the tie and Spurs now need 2 more goals to go
throu .

Wembley must be half empty from what I can see which might open
a can of worms if the case

I hope you're never in charge of buying any match tickets - they're playing Gent, not Genk. They're about 150km apart.

Horrible challenge from Alli, a proper leg breaker, deserved the red card

It was not as thou he needed to dive in at all was it as the gent player did not have a clear run on goal or owt.

What is it they say about great defenders ' they never go to ground' unlike all I did.

In fairness it's irrelevant considering Spurs are the 'home' team...

The system has changed since the sub but the way they play 3 at the back gives me a semi on. The left and right centre halves appear all over the pitch. To play the system as they do and not leave themselves wide open is incredible. They must put an incredible amount of work in on the training pitch and their gaffer must be exceptional.

Game over. Good result for me. Had a lump on Roma at 10/1 for the tournament. Krasnador are 5/1 second favourites at the minute, if they win it I'll give up.

Alli throwing his toys out of the pram because everything was not going for him. The cowards way out because he wasn't good enough to change the game on the pitch that bad attitude could cost him because he has the ability.

He was good enough, and with him on the pitch they would have won, they had to chase the game with Ten men and dominated them for long periods, gett ing caught on the break was always a possibility. What did for Ali was his frustration at not getting a foul against him moments before, the red mist came down and he launched into a leg breaker of a challenge

Horror tackle wasn't it, he clearly tried to take the lot, get the ball but make sure he left plenty on the man, missing the ball just makes it look even worse. You can't say they would have won but they would have had a better chance. He's got that spite in his game Alli, like Rooney had when he was young. He just needs to learn to channel it a bit better.

When I saw the replay I was convinced he'd broke his leg, his bones must be made of rubber the way his leg bent at an un natural angle

Don't think his foot was completely planted from memory. If it was it could have been a lot worse.

It was a dreadful tackle but have Spurs not learnt a thing from their 2-2 game against Chelsea last season when they lost the title.

Take that horror challenge out of the scope but still loads of Spurs players got a yellow cards last night as the game was going away from them.

This issue seems to run throu the spine of the team when out on the pitch of play in big games when results are not going their way.

Just watch them in facup semi final if they are getting beat for same reaction.

Maybe it is a case of true experienced leaders not being there. I look at their team and see loads of talent but not enough of that experienced edge. No Rooney types, your Terry's, Gerrard's, Carragher's, Vieira's that are crucial to a truly successful team.

Whatever it is roversalias they have had untill after that Chelsea game last season to address said issues and don't seem to have done bugger all about it.

No. I dont think he is what they need to be honest.
I think he will finish up at Everton.

I agree totally, players like Alli need to mature and as I said, the lack of that elite experience is not going to quicken that process. They have a great group of fantastic players but who are the senior squad members? Looking at it the three oldest first teamers are Lloris, Dembele and Vertonghen, all 29/30 and have grown with the club rather than joined and pulled the club up, as happened with players at teams like Chelsea and Man City when they were breaking through into the upper echelon.

Eriksen, Kane, Alli, Rose, Dier - these are fantastic footballers but they are all 25 and under and it shows in big games like this and the Chelsea game. I believe they would have won the league last season with just 1/2 older, wiser heads in there. I'm not a scout or a manager so I can't tell you who those exact players are, but say they had a Rooney type and a Terry type added to their ranks and I think they would have beaten Leicester to the post.

Next round of this cup has drawn genk vs gent ,I should have had some Belgium francs on that been
pulled out of them plaggy balls.

Why are all these FIFA  UEFA draws so dam boring as it allways seems to be drawn by t**ts on the stage watched by another set of t**ts sat down in the complex all deeming false smiles .

I'm glad someone agrees with me on that. People keep telling me he's good! He should never ever play in midfield for England again.
