They do it every year.

I think there's a medium for us to lower the prices and increase season ticket holders which will still bring in a similar amount of funds to add to the budget. You've just got to find that happy medium. As a club though they'd surely want the stadium packed and make it an intimidating place to come.

The club cocked it up in the second year in the Championship.
They assumed that 9,000 would be sold despite the price increase.

Pretty sick of hearing this line in internet discussions.
"Don't criticise if you couldn't achieve better", essentially. In that case, close this forum as none of us can offer a valid opinion on football as we're not professionals ourselves.

I thought that was what this forum is for 'to have opinions'
What annoys me is the constant criticism of the club when no constructive ideas are put forward. DRFC are one of the best run clubs in the football league.

Telephone or e mail the marketing dept and let them know.
No good is done stewing about it. Let them know if something is not to your liking.

They have had great cup runs, and play off places for the last few years without getting out of the 1st division.
They may not even get into the play offs this season, and chances are their season ticket sales will start to suffer, especially if Leeds or Huddersfield get promotion.
Lets see Mr Frost their sales for next season, or when they eventually have to increase their prices.

I'd buy one at that price but I'll probably be buying a membership card due to games I'll miss through work

I would and I would put £15/20 into the bar and kiosks as I do at the 10(ish) home games I currently attend on spare tickets from friends

With Bradford getting very good crowds for home games I wonder if they shoot them sens in the foot by contacting the food catering out to likes of centre plate or do they keep that in house .

Surely they be chucking money out of the window if it was contracted out.

They do contract the catering out Oslo.
A lot of the lads I know won't buy anything in the ground because of the prices. There are a few weird combinations of food and drink regarding discounts.

They ran out of food for the entire away end before half time last time we played there, so not sure you can even compare their catering favourably to ours and that is saying something.

Iam quite shocked that they contract the food outlets out .

For sure if the food outlets were all in house it be a good chance to make quite a bit of $ $ $
on match days?

Or are there draw backs to in house catering ?

They are guaranteed a certain sum each season rather than risking any of their own money.
They may feel at some stage that running it themselves is worthwhile.
