Looking ahead to Grimsby 1 April
« on February 26, 2017, 08:00:29 pm by Haxey-Hood-DRFC »
Just wondering when tickets go on sale for season ticket holders; and also the date for non season ticket holders.

I've read a post somewhere claiming our allocation is a miserly 500 tickets. Have I dreamt that? Surely it can't be right, can it?

Any info greatly appreciated.

I had a look on the Grimsby website the other day and in their ground info it says the usual away allocation is something like 570. It does say this can be increased depending on the expected home attendance but seeing as this will be their cup final I can't see them giving us any more, will be their biggest crowd of the season.

Thanks Dave. We could sell that several times over, so let's hope they increase it to make their 'cup final' even more atmospheric.  :woohoo:

Surely that can't be right. The away end must hold around 1500-2000

EFL rules state that below 20,00 capacity 10% must be allocated to the away team.

This bit says something about EFL regulations. Not worded very well though, surely if they need to increase it then it should say 'away support ticket demand'. 10% of their ground is still only around 900 though.

Away supporters will predominantly be accommodated in the covered corner of the Osmond Stand. The club reserves the right to change the seating allocation for away supporters and their location depending on the home support ticket demand, safety steward directions must be obeyed at all times regardless of the allocated seat number on the Matchday ticket. Away supporter ticket numbers will remain in line with the league regulations with regards to the overall percentage of the stadium’s capacity.

1904, giving us that entire stand. Only £18.

We have received an allocation of 1904 tickets from Grimsby Town which will go on sale as follows:

Monday 6th March – Season Ticket Holders
Monday 13th March  – Members/ Alliance
Monday 20th March  – General Sale

I'm worried about it making membership to be honest, hope it does.
