He used to be a real pain but he seems to have improved with age. Having said that I've got to the point where I expect the ref to be poor.

I am going 2 - not as good as the Cheltenham Ref imo and he got 3 which is as high as I go.

Swithering between 2 and 3. Much better than the utterly useless Eddie Ilderton but still inconsistent. Allowed a good deal of physical contact and let the game flow but seemed inconsistent in dealing with dissent. How the County player who raised his hands escaped a yellow defeats me.
