Saturday Afternoon's key fixtures (Mar. 25th. 2017)
« on March 23, 2017, 06:54:37 pm by les@donr »
This Saturday's fixtures of the top 8 teams minus ourselves and Plymouth.

Colchester vs Luton

Blackpool vs Hartlepool

Cambridge vs Stevenage

Carlisle vs Crewe

Exeter vs Yeovil

Portsmouth vs Newport

Cambridge and Colchester could do us favours in preventing Luton and Stevenage from winning, we would be 2 points closer to promotion without playing!

Which would mean promotion at Grimsby should we win, assuming we win on Sunday. Promotion on the day Rovrum are relegated, too.

BRR, your choice. However, I always have the thread up two days before games.

I looked for it earlier and for some reason it didn't show up - relegated to page 2? Anyway, all fun!

Result wise both Newport and Leyton O now look doomed to playing Non-league football next season, and likely replacements Lincoln and ?

I hope Forest Green make it up.

Switched to listening to the Cambridge/Stevenage game. Cambridge dominating, just no score yet.

crewe 2 up on Carlisle. Carlisle on a very bad run, could end up outside of play-offs.

None of the teams places 4-7 are not winning, if this remains the same at the end of the day, we will be 2 points closer to promotion without having kicked a ball.

Blackpool's win moves them up to 5th, could be the dark horse for promotion.

Exeter score 2 goals in 2 minutes to snatch an unlikely draw as a consequence knocking Carlisle outside of the play-off places.

Pompy and Blackpool seem to be the 2 teams that have hit form at the 'right time', for want of a better cliche...

we're not doing too bad ourselves, win tomorrow and it will be 4 wins on the bounce.

Not too bad that's a massive understatement. Only lost once since 10th Dec.
2 defeats in 23 matches. Oh and by the way Luton are the best team in League 2  ha ha ha.

Agree, I didn't want to be accused of being arrogant. Modesty is always the better way. Even given that we are probably the form team.
