The just giving site
« on March 24, 2017, 07:48:30 pm by normal rules »
The "just giving" site has a page for PC Palmer whci the Met have started.I see in the news today that the site donated £10k up front itself but stand to make £20k in fees as they take 5% of everything raised. As of late today the fund was up to £561,000.

I hope they waive the fee.  (which currently there are refusing to do)

As an ex cop and now police staff I hope so too.
And I hope some sort of arrangement is made for families of the other bereaved families

I'm pretty sure something will happen. Pc Palmer's family will be well looked after and I believe the just giving page is now well over half a million.
CICB will also kick in for the others murdered

I agree with what's been stated, would be great if they did waive the few.
Of course it is tragic a just giving page was needed and lives cut short in the first place.

I'm not too familiar with how the website works, but if like kost businesses, they need to make money. Especially in these difficult times, so i doubt they will waive the fee.

That said, excellent gesture for them to start the ball rolling with 10k
