Lawlor

Should of done better eith their goal. He seemed to flap at it.

Yes their player had a free header which should of been defended better, but a keeper shouldn't be allowing the ball the pass through their hands.

Hope he isn't a Woods MkII. Come from a top club but can't cut it.

I think he will come good, but needs to up his game

Come on, it was a bullet header from very close in.

I think the shape and pure height of the corner would evade most keepers at this level and he had no chance once their guy got his head on it - unstoppable from 6 yards!!!!!

I think you're being a bit harsh mate. It was almost the perfect corner ball and I think the issue was that we had no real challenge to the header by a defender rather than anything the goalie did (or didn't) do.

Leslie not to. Lame for the goal.  The delivery  was excellent and a really good header.  It would appear that it is something they have used a lot.  Maybe as a team we should have been more aware and prepared

A bit like an exocet missile eh, you know what is coming but hard to defend against.

Blame the two on the back post looking at each other in cuckoo land, terrible defending again.

I initially thought he could have done better but when you watch it back he had almost no time to react. The disappointing thing is that it was basically the only save he needed to make all game, and he didn't. But that is harsh on him as the corner was poorly defended and that's what ultimately led to the goal.

Lawlor still has improvements to make (coming off his line for crosses / catching over punching) but I think he has the quality to be a really good keeper for us over quite a long period of time. I'm hoping I'm proved right on that one.

Early observations so far;
- good and quick distribution
- marshalls the penalty area and final third of       the pitch very well
- always talking
- not seen much shot stopping yet so hard to judge
- not sure about his aerial prowess yet either. Think he prefers to punch than catch

I think the foundations are there but I guess he's a bit like May at the moment, work in progress.

Not to blame.. If anything, we didn't pressure their scorer enough.

Lawlor's a solid keeper. Not to blame for goal . Poor set piece defending, Argyle did a job on us. 2 banks of 4 well drilled. Explains why they are the best away side in the league. I think they have an easier run in. Will be gutted if we lose title to 'em. But on to next game
