Shouldn't that be £19 both ways.

Was it the case when Grimsby came to Donny?

Do we have a designated pub? I'm Presuming the local police won't let us have the run of the town unlike SYP did for for them

Think we're under the same treatment that Grimsby were. Ticket checks and dry trains.

I've read a place called 'Waves' is designated away pub. Grimsby fans pretty much got free reign of DTC that day, I bet we won't get free reign of Cleethorpes or Grimsby though.

The locals won't allow us to have free reign of Cleggy, they will be out in force I reckon.

Yeah I have been told, we're getting a escort from the train station to the ground, and the coaches are been forced to enter the ground right away.

Sheffield United ruined it for all of us. w**kers.

Shit that the trains from Donny will be dry,I imagine the whole day will be police overkill with them ushering people straight back onto the train relevant trains etc.
Very few away pubs etc.

Hopefully be a good day like,I just have a feeling that it will be overkill big time.

If that's the case, what's the point in have a designated Away boozer near the front? I'll hopefully be sneaking off to Spoons for a brekkie and a few pre match sharpeners   :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Maybe not. The police might not let them board the train at Donny. 😉

Well I think it is the Grimsby fans who have forced the issue and perhaps the Police want to make sure you all get home alive and in one piece.

It also amazes me why football supporters allow themselves to be corralled to football grounds. Police have only very specific powers to do this. They have to believe there will be a breach of the peace for one. Know your rights, don't be forced into an escort if you are doing nothing wrong. Use cameras to film heavy handed individuals who do not fully justify themselves.

If a large group of rovers supporters fall off the train at clee half drunk shouting and carrying on like animals, then expect to be treat like one.
Go about your business quietly and orderly and head to the nearest boozer in fettled. Challenge any attempt to force you to go to the ground without a fully explained reason.

It is a small minority. It shouldn't ruin the other supporters days.
Clamp down harder on the idiots and a bit of common sense from the OB and it would make for a easier day for all concerned.
Police cause a lot of issues.

I do believe we had this discussion when they played here and I do believe I said. Wait and see what happens when we go there. identical Police actions based on intelligence and at The Keepmoat fixture the intelligence was correct

Apart from fighting for a good 5 minutes outside Car park 3 with no police to be seen. Still the 3 riot vans parked at the bottom of Childers Street where no away fans go were no doubt ready to spring into action whilst Rovers fans were getting attacked a few hundred yards away. Policing between the ground & the post Office Depot when a team brings a big following is shocking, nailed on it will kick off between there next week as well.

Standard SYPD tactics - let it kick off then knock on doors a few days later, prevention & protecting the public doesn't seem to be a priority these days
