If we have a strike force of Marquis, Mandeville, May, Madden and say Anderson or someone similar

Anderson would never fit as any part of that equation

we need to be looking at Morris, Maguire or Morison to have any sort of coherence...

I just used Anderson as a placeholder for whomever this alleged PL striker is that's coming in on loan. My point is, we'd have a diverse and talented set of strikers in stark contrast to much of the last ten years.

I agree re the possibility of Marquis, Madden and Anderson just behind. Anderson could be the replacement for Copps who I see being used more as an impact sub next season.

Role reversal for Copps who could play a big part in the last 20 mins of a game, either bringing a cool head or running at tiring defences.

Some like the idea of Tommy Rowe playing more centrally but his left foot dominance puts him on the left side for me with Blair on the right.

Just wish Jordan Houghton was available as we'd be good to go.

"Good to go" except 2 of the players that you've mentioned don't yet play for us!

Aren't Brizzle Rovers in a bit of financial trouble.

They are owned by a Jordanian billionaire, the manager has been quoted as saying he wants to bring in 10-11 quality players to make a push for promotion, and has been rumoured to have a transfer budget of £2m to do it.

Something you know I dont?

£2million is not a big budget for 10 players

You see how many other League 1 clubs spend that amount! (Admittedly the Gas haven't spent any of it yet so its still just a rumour).

No problem, I thought you may have done. There is an issue about their ground move and these Jordanian owners have promised more cash then they have delivered but from the people I know it all seems to be going well there.

Hence the word possibility.

For 10 players it would be. Some clubs have that as an entire club budget.

Apparently, Mansfield have already signed 10. Now that is getting them in early!
