RM: Alex Mowatt (Barnsley)
CM: Harry Middleton (Doncaster)
CM: Mitch Rose (Newport)
LM: James Baxendale (Mansfield)

ST: Chris Brown (Bury)
ST: Jerry Yates (Rotherham)

Subs
Billy Whitehouse (Leeds)

Michael Rankine (Guiseley)
Marcus Williams (Guiseley)
Sam Hird (Chesterfield)
Andrew Boyce (Grimsby)
Callum Howe (Lincoln)

Reece Fielding (Doncaster)

A pretty League 2 looking team so far.

Anyone I missed? Anyone born in the borough of Doncaster.

I've put where they were last season. I know a couple have now been released.

I dont think that team would hold its own in the football league.  A couple of quality names but other than that a pretty poor side.

sam hird as an option at CB - or mason holgate at everton (probably a bit better)?

struggling for other keepers though - there's a lad called matt gledhill playing non-league in the republic of ireland - andy rhodes needs to come out of retirement - heh

Jerry Yates at Rotherham is a better option than Margetts as a striker.

In the Grimsby programme there's a interview with Sam Jones ,he says he was born in Barnsley but grew up in Doncaster and classes himself as a Donny lad

Only just read this thread, as someone said, with a couple of exceptions there are not so many good players there and the line up would struggle to stay in L2.

Brad Grayson bagged a load for Buxton this year.

Buxton train in Donny and Tim Ryan is their assistant manager. Jan Butz and Ravenhill play for them as well.
