Moving back home, across the road from the late Stadium of Chips;
Scarborough Athletic FC - New ground update - April 2017 - YouTube

Looks too small for them to me, and why they have put one end bang up against a warehouse is a mystery. Limited the options for increasing capacity should the need arise.

It will be interesting to see how many of their old fans turn out next season, now that they are back from Brid.

It's not quite over the road, it's the other side of the railway line, lower down in the valley and as such a bit nearer to town.

And it's not a warehouse, but (I presume) the 'leisure village' development of which the ground is part of.

But great to see it at the stage it's at, and to see the club back in the town.

Just wait for the day they play wolves so a attention seeking yam yam can chuck himself off the grounds roof.

that's a tidy little ground - i look forward to going their and watching whoever is our current keeper at the time repeatedly hoof the ball upfield - time and time and time again - on to the head of whoever is their current centre half at the time, in a nightmarish re-run of the Baz Richardson and Paul Ellender shows of yesteryear...

I was just going to say I hope they have strengthened the Roof

I went to Scarborough for the week,timed it so I could go to the Scarborough away leg in the Carling cup(or whatever it was called then), that was on the Tuesday night.So we arrived on the sat morning of that Wolves match,one particular seafront pub was full of their fans,it was old english fashioned pub and also 2 storey,and I always have stuck in my mind the image of them sitting on the window sills and hanging out the second storey windows,literally.Probably one of them was the roof diver at the match.PMSL
