LOL BUT I BET IT WAS NOT THE BEST OR EVEN THE SECOND BEST, they have thousands of kids on there books, but you can only beat the team in front of you

My mates lad plays up front with this years U13s and they too turned man Utd over at the weekend. They have also had some impressive results, beating Shef Utd, Man City and Huddersfield - all away - again highly regarded group by the club - perhaps things are coming together in the academy front.

I think the reality is that the good ones will be cherry picked by bigger clubs...sad really but you can't blame the lads.

A reason why EPPP is a load of w**k. If it was the same as before we'd get a healthy some for the decent lads which we could invest back in the youth again.

I think from 9-12 compensation is 3k per academy year...then from 13 onwards its 7k per year...loose change to premier league clubs

That's why they can take so many in and then throw them on the scrap heap a couple of years later.
