Longest day MacMillan Golf challenge.

You may remember last year that four of us (all Rovers fans) did this at Bawtry Golf club. We hit our Golf balls 26 miles (carrying Golf bags, no trolleys or carts) took 56k steps apiece, walked up 150 flights of stairs (not literally) and burnt shed loads of calories!

Well we're doing it again this year this coming Sunday and any donations would be much appreciated - last year we raised 549quid for this worthwhile charity (I know we needed all the MacMillan help we could get when my Mrs was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago.)

So I'm asking if anyone can spare a little again - it would be ace!

The best golf challenge is the 1 hole on 18 different golf courses and cycling inbetween them. The only one that would not let us play was the posh one on bawtry road. Worksop were brill and gave us a hefty donation and made us some food. 100 miles cycling and 18 holes or cyclogolf as we called it. It was just about dark though on the last hole at Styrrup!!

I'd do something similar, only I'd stipulate that the 1 hole on 18 different courses would be the 19th.

Oh, and instead of cycling, i'd have a designated driver.

I'd call it Drivepissup.

Was in portugal over half-term golfing - pestana resort courses I played were gramacho, silves and pisto - very nice all of them!
