It didn't take long guys!

"Tommy Rowe and Ben Gladwin both saw efforts well saved for Blackburn but..."

Sky Sports are not much better.

Just got this year's fabulous Sky Sports football annual, which I adore. However they do have a few misprints when it comes to Rovers. For several years now 'Book' and not 'Booth' has scored 4 goals in our record 10-0 win over Darlington. At least they have finally caught on that Coppinger is our record appearance holder, and not Fred Emery which they still had lasy year. However how about the subtle misprint (one character only) in the following appearing this year........

'Doncaster Rovers won their first major trophy in March 1991 when they defeated Sheffield United 2-1 at Bramall Lane to win the Sheffield Challenge Cup. Rovers fought back with goals from George James and Tom Kisbey after falling behind in the opening minutes.'

What a difference a century makes  :headbang:

Alfie Hale scored 4 in that win, Colin Booth 2, Keith Ripley 2, Denis Windrows 1 and Albert Broadbent the tenth. The game was 6 days before my 11th birthday, I don't expect that I'll every see Rovers score my age in a game again.

Apologies Jonny, of course it was Booth 2, but certainly not Book 2 as in the Sky Annual - I don't remember Kim scoring too many in the 1960's, or even in the 1970's when he played in goal for us. By the way I was there as well, and I was 12.

In BBC's defence, our crushing win featured on their '5 Things' for the EFL feature, and in it they mention that we "dominated" the game. I'll take that, cheers Beeb.

Strangely, Alex Jefferies never scored in that game.
