Some quite patronising rhetoric in that article.
"at least they were mixing it with Nottingham Forest, Wolves and Aston Villa"
I'm sure the majority of Premier League  teams' supporters think that every season, as their teams trundle on, year-after-year, achieving nothing but avoiding the drop.

Rather have the complete unknown every season, and wouldn't swap our highs and lows over the past decade for anything  :scarf:

Coppinger singled out for praise though - ' consistent touch and vision '  :scarf:

Fair comment on cops and maybe for the neutral we should not be getting too excited yet. It was def the best time to play them

I'm taking nothing away from the team though as you can only play what is put in front of you

Oh dear me, whatever happened to the Money Jack Walker pumped in to the club. I seem to recall that a few years ago they didn't even need to declare their accounts as they were totally self funding, Did Ken Richardson get onto the board?.

I am sure I read somewhere that Blackburn are currently over £106m in debt.

Yes they are, rich owners who only loan money to the club rather than owners who don't look for a return.

I was asked to accompany the trust from Blackburn whilst seeking a meeting with the EFL some years ago. Some of the detail behind the headline stuff during the Venkeys reign was heartbreaking.

With what the venkys have done to BRFC ,the fa seem quite happy enough to let them carry on and on and on.

At what point do the FA take action like they did with Layton orient when that clubs shit hit the fan over last couple seasons.

The powers that be seem to let any Trojan horse set up apply for a club and run it with no control untill it's too late.
