Condolences to the Woodrow family
« on August 18, 2017, 01:33:16 pm by retford rover »
On behalf of the Supporters Club, we would like to send our condolences to the family of Malc Woodrow from Rossington, who has just passed away,
Malc and his daughter Kayleigh and son Liam used to be regular traveller's on the Retford branch coach, and attended lot's of our events.
Malc has had a long battle with the dreaded C,
Thoughts are with wife Wendy, Kayleigh, Liam and the rest of the family, from your Rovers family.

As someone whose dad has just passed (and a fellow Rossingtonian too) , my thoughts with them also.

I am very sad at this news Malc and Kayleigh used to sit next to my daughter and myself in the South Stand when he was well. He was a great bloke and a wonderful dad. A true Rovers fan, such a sad loss my thoughts and condolences to his family.

Going to miss the big daft bugger. A true Zigger, only telling me last week he was going to beat it, or at least get back into south stand one last time. Till we meet again big lad, I'll be thinking of you today.

Sad news. Maybe on these occasions if possible, a picture would be useful for people  to recognize who the deceased is.

RIP.

I've said this before BB. We see and talk to so many fans at games over the years without always knowing their names.

Exactly. No idea what half the lads I've spoken to at games regularly were called but I'd know them all instantly by sight.
