4/6 Stubbs. On at 20.
Just been told Stubbs has got the job. Hope so.
Jones went because he wasn't fit and hadn't trained. There was never any sign that he would ever get fit enough to play.Wellens went because he wanted to. He was disruptive in the changing room and had fallen out with his teammates.
How does SM know what went off in the changing room? It's a slur on an excellent player.I'd like to see the evidence for it and I wonder who told him to say that?
How they are going to pay him I don't know as players have not been paid for September as of yet

They will struggle to attract any decent candidates until they can show they have dealt with the money problems.Richie may end up being caretaker for quite a while. If he continues to do well he could end up being offered the job.
Wellens got the job.

Oldham to appoint Richie Wellens as permanent manager http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4992064/Oldham-appoint-Richie-Wellens-permanent-manager.html"Ex-Leicester, Oldham and Blackpool man" - typical national rag, no mention over Rovers, despite 2 spells and over 190 appearances (203 for Blackpool, 143 for Leicester, 100 for Oldham)
That Wellens bloke must be really lucky eh, four wins and a draw in his five games in charge.
