Harrogate or York would be good draws.

Don't know why we're all bothering with suggestions. Just book your train ticket to Oldham and get on with it.

Shaw Lane are through, so them or Gainsborough would be great.

That would be a disaster. What time would we have to set off for that?

Gainsborough at home, they would probably bring more to Doncaster than would go to the game at Gainsborough and the facilities are better for us and them.

Many good memories of standing on the terracing at the Shay back in the sixties watching the Rovers.
obviously "my boy" you didn't go to that 4-0 Shay drubbing after Rovers had just signed two new defenders (one was a right back) might even have been three newbies made their debut in that massacre -- wasn't the best of memories last time I went there :suicide:

just checked and "TECHNICALLY" you are correct that was 12 Dec 1970  meaning the match was in the seventies !!

Ha, CLH, trying to extract a bale out my man eh.
No technical excuse needed for me as December 1970 is not in the sixties.
I also just checked and we won there 3-2 on two occasions, very close together too.
Once on Tuesday 8th March 1966 and again on the 2nd December 1967.

Glad I read this thread as I will now watch it .

Since armthorpe welfare or rossington main are not in 1st round draw ,Iam going all in that rovers will get tied with bury or Rotherham United .

Mind you I Can’t predict the home or away bit .

Would like a local ish non league side away if not someone like Lincoln away would be a decent away day. More than likely end up at Oldham

... AND we will be Ball 18

There will probably then be 18 threads all saying the name of the Team we have drawn within 2 minutes of the draw being known.

Just moping !

remember they (Ebbsfleet )wangled a release of a center half from Gillingham last season (bloke left gills for personal reasons - allegedly) to help win the play offs think they signed one or two ringers from Gillingham late on as well ambitious but who isn't

Danny Kedwell is up front for them, and they have Maltese international Sam Magri in defence. But they might lose their replay yet. Either way it's a tie we should win, and I notice Gainsborough got a favourable home draw so we could end up against them still in Round 2.
