Kedwell allegedly went to Ebbsfleet  on a contract which was far better payed than his at the Gills.

didn't think the lady was very good at holding the balls! Needs to handle them better and be more full on!

Was the last time we played Ebbsfleet( gravesend and northfleet)  in the conference on a Tuesday night? Seem to remember the police had a few dogs on the way into the open terrace away end. The ground has changed a tad since then.

Now I know where the team and ground is as they have changed their name .

If it is live on the idiot box do rovers get a share of the tv money,or is that payout for home clubs only.

Hyde v Franchise and Shaw Lane v Mansfield are nailed on for live coverage. There will be 4-5 matches shown live by BBC and BT.

Ours has a fair chance of being live or extended coverage on MOTD (for which we get a smaller fee.)

Surely the mighty Charlton Athletic v Truro (the first Cornish team for about 50 years to qualify for R1) will be in with a shout of a TV game.

Didn't we play Truro in the first round of the cup years ago? 2006 Maybe?

This is their first ever time in the 1st Round so no, you must be thinking of someone else but we don't have a long list of non-league opponents in the past 10 years to be honest.

Not too dissimilar then. We've played Weston and Stalybridge in the last few years, I can't think of any other minnows in the FA Cup though since that Tiverton match, which was in 2004 apparently.

Then again we play Oldham seemingly every other year so maybe that's why!

Sure someone put a stat up here last year that in the last 10 years we'd played Oldham 3 times in 1st round and for 5 of those years we were in Championship.

Rather have a banana skin than be freezing my b*llocks off at their ground, anyway.

When is the Ebsfleet v East Thurrock game due to be played?

Tonight.

If Ebbsfleet get through, I don't think our tie is guaranteed to be on the Saturday, given that Dartford have also been drawn at home to league opposition, and Gillingham have a home tie too.

Bradford Park Avenue.

Really weird to think (showing my age - or lackthereof - here ) that they used to be a properly established Football League club decades ago when you think of where they are now. Suppose it isn't unique, though (well, some of their story might be at least).

Ah of course, was that when Dickov was our manager? I seem to remember the Bradford consolation being an absolute cracker that day.

Our game will either be live on TV, the featured game on MOTD or on Sunday for BBC coverage. We should find out tomorrow or Thursday. I think the last of the replays is Wednesday night.

Edit. All replays tonight so decisions on TV can be made tomorrow.

I'd completely forgot the Stalybridge game happened until I remembered that Wellens came on as a sub very late on, then moaned about it in a press interview when Shrewsbury got drawn against Man United later that season.

I remember playing against BPA the year after they went out of the league.
They still had some really good players including Les Massie who i think had played for Huddersfield in the old Division One.

An old Stainy lad, now sadly departed played for Bradford Park Avenue, Pat Carlin

I remember Pat very well Filo and was saddened to hear of his death a couple of years ago.
His daughter married a mate of mine from Moorends.

A very good player and goalscorer.
Do you remember us beating them (BPA) 6-2 and Hector got both of their goals ?
