Believe he kept us in the game against Charlton as well, but needs to improve his footwork

I think it's Hebrew for "kept us in it with wonder save"

Great save but would have been irrelevent had he not dropped a massive bollock

He got away with it, it didn't cost us any points. Expect mistakes from any keeper at times just like the outfield fellas.

Can’t believe how often he finds touch with his kicks - unfortunately it’s not rugby we play

Not as unfortunate as your negativity about him

I maybe wrong but did the ball even bobble? It just looked like a horrendous mistake to me. It happens though and probably just a lapse in concentration.
Great save at the end though.

It looked to just go under his foot. If he had stopped it with the inside of his foot it would never have happened.

Wasn't there but mistakes happen. He made amends with what sounds like a belter save at the end. That cock up will be going through his mind 100s of times and i bet he won't do it again.

That’s what he will have tried to do I’m sure. Just lost concentration.

Watch it again he tried to stop it with the soul of his boot as if he was going to roll it forward, I'm not convinced with him, good shot stopper with good reactions, but prone to to many schoolboy errors

It's easy to forget that Lawlor is only 22 years old. I can live with the odd mistake from him at this stage of his career given his obvious overall talent.

How many other errors has he made since he joined?

He's young and been playing regular senior football for only a few months. He clearly possesses great ability, his shot-stopping is on a par with anyone I've seen guarding the nets for Rovers, his kicks are strong (the ones straight out are always when he's trying to find the touchline player) and his distribution is very good as well. He will make errors as a young player learning the game, but that's the case with most goalies his age.

Anyone remember the ridiculous errors David De Gea kept making as a youngster at Man Utd? You could argue he's the best keeper in the world at the minute.

Name me a keeper who hasn’t experienced a howler like that - it’s a very short list indeed - they all have

All keepers make howlers but ones like that?! I'd say the list is pretty short!

I can remember an England International keeper, Paul Robinson, doing a similar one.

That one hit a divot and the ball changed direction

Cock ups happen in all levels of sport. Even wicket keepers drop easy catches with gloves on.

It didn't cost us. Move on.
