"OH NOOOOOOOOOO"
« on October 18, 2017, 12:50:48 pm by selby »
There I was happy as a lark wallowing in the three points and beating the Kitsons, agreeing with everyone on here (a first),and went onto the Walsall site, and was delighted to find them at war with their manager, the team are poor, and generally the world is sh**.
Then someone had to do it further into their forum, anyone over fifty will know exactly where I am coming from,WE HAVE ONLY WON ONE AWAY MATCH IN 2017,YES ONLY ONE,bloody hell I turned to jelly,I will fret all the way until the match is over.
It is one of the joys of being a dedicated Rover, but does not help the sleep cycle,or the heart, and blood pressure,ITS GOING TO BE A LONG WEEK.

I had to laugh at that post selby.
I think we all know that feeling.

I read somewhere yesterday that we had beaten Portsmuff four times in a row !!

That made me nervous going into the game.

I think that we have certainly helped opposition teams to get out of bad runs many times in the past.
Walking away in disbelief many times when the wheels have come off for no apparent reason. It makes it even worse when you then took a good team in the next game.

"THANKS FOR THAT IDLER" I feel a lot better now, or should I say more nervous, you have obviously supported the mighty reds for many a year to be scarred like that.

It always seems to be worse with a decent crowd in attendence as well Selby. I'll be there on Saturday with three family members and I have missed the last two wins so I am probably more worried than you.
I started watching them in 1958 so I have seen many disappointments.
On the other side of the coin the highs seem very high when your lows go as far as ours have.

I agree with your original post Brian, but I didn't expect it, even at half time, I think when the first 2 subs didn't include Mason we had to fear the worst.  :(

Yes given the bawling outs Mason was getting I fully expected him to get yanked at HT - and I was shocked to see Baudry coming off. If he was not injured that was a strange one

We may have changed the game if the shot that hit the post had gone in or indeed the rebound - but for 2 or 3 minutes after the double subs Rovers and the Crowd seemed to sense that things had changed

Cue the first of 3 poor goals - to the opposition !

Fergie must be protecting Baudry, he subbed him early 2nd half against Portsmouth too.

Bloody 'ell, you only got half an Orange at HT when I used to play.

On Tuesday he played 70-odd minutes. Clearly he came off because DF wanted to change systems and Baudry was least likely to last the full game.

It was funnier when Rodney Marsh said this in the 70's, olden not golden
