I thought the ref was quite decent today. His biggest fault was that he was rather lenient. Had he been a strict one there's no way Scunny would have finished with 11 men. What a bunch of cloggers! Maybe Alexander should try to get some footballers in rather than trying to bully his way out of League One.

How Bishop got through the game without picking up a card is a mystery.

I agree the ref should sent most their players off by half time .

Church should have seen red for a blatant elbow

The subs that Scunny threw on had clearly been told to rough us up

In a nutshell, they came to bully but got their arses kicked.

Not being allowed to ompete must translate into not being allowed to kicklumps out of the opposition

The early bookings were deserved.
What that did was to prevent those two players from being able to continue kicking our players.
I agree that Bishop should have been carded too, especially after our second goal when Scunny lost their heads a bit and were over aggressive with some of their challenges.

It’s the refs fault, think we’ve used that excuse as well

That must be what he means !

The Ref had a good game in some respects (e.g. he saw some fouls) but was too lenient in most of the incidents already mentioned in the posts above

I reckon he should have had his Card out for the first foul on Matty Blair right in front of the dug outs after 2 minutes. It was a Yellow Card all day long but "too early"

Also I am aghast that he saw Bishop's assault on Copps as not even a foul and like most others however Bishop got through the 95 minutes without getting a Card is way beyond my understanding

So its a 1 from me (oops wrong thread)

The first thing Van Veen did was to try and pick a fight with Whiteman. Horrible team.

Yes with the numbers on the subs backs they could have chanted

"10 - 20 - 30 lets get on and lets get DIRTY !!!"

Their subs were daft, it was almost as if someone had just asked them to go out and kick the opposition.

One of them did just do that. Booted one of ours then he ran back to Alexander grinning - as much as to say was that OK Boss

He was probably just frustrated that had things turned out differently a while back he could have been playing at the Keepmoat every other week as opposed to once or twice a season.

... ah but the way we played in second half last week and majority of yesterday he would still be struggling to get a game at KMS !
