Ah the famously named Ref - relieved of Reffing the recent Blackpool game so as not to upset the Hierarchy at Blackpool

Would not do to have a Ben-t-oner in charge on the day would it !

========================================================

He has not scored well when in charge of us and was Ref when we beat Scunny in Checkatrade on Pens. Seemed to play advantage too may times (according to my review). I gave him 1 so he must have been well average !

I think his middle name must be "Inconsistency." He seemed to give free kicks at random. At least he gave us a penalty though.

He played an advantage when Tommy Rowe was taken completely out, not complaining about the advantage but at the next break in play he should have shown the yellow card to the Northampton player

One of the better refs we’ve seen, supported by a lines men on the west side who had a good game as well

I might be wrong, but very early in the game, I'm sure that the West Stand linesman gave an offside from a goal kick by Northampton.  Unless the rules have changed, that should not have happened!
