Just thinking again about that third goal off Copps’ against Southend.

Great to watch those goals again, they always get me grinning like a idiot!
My partner was heavily pregnant and due to give birth at anytime so i said i wouldnt go to the match, i popped out to the shop for something
and my mates were stood outside the Railway pub (Askern) one shouted over that they had a spare ticket and room on the mini bus, happy days!
The grief that night cost me! I had a couple of beers before i dare go home though.

The Rovers team certainly was. Talking of perspective, James Coppinger was 27 years old and in his prime, with players of similar ability around him. Now, he's our stand out player - at 37 years old!

The top teams were outstanding. Us, Swansea, Forest and Leeds were all excellent that season, put any of them teams in this year and they'd cruise to the title. The rest, like in all seasons, were much of a muchness.

JPT match v Crewe was a classic as well especially as we had so many ill that game!
