saw him in Meadowhall earlier today, he was on crutchers.

What happened to him?  :S

Last game he played was against Cardiff in last few minutes, anyone know if he just got injured in training?

I saw him at the match last night with one of those moon boot things on.

I think he damaged a metatarsal in training. Someone may say otherwise who knows more.

Jesus, you couldn't make it up could you.

Seriously, there must be something amiss with our players fitness levels or training regime with the rate our players pick up injuries. It's more than a case of bad luck.

I don't know whether it has anything to do with it or not but I always remember when Dickens was at Sheff Wed they always seemed to have an embarrasing long list of injuries. But maybe thats more down to taking risks on more injury prone players than normal to get them cheaper or on cheaper wages.Plus I don't think 6 injured players out of a squad of 29 is too bad especially when you think woods is close to coming back and Shackell is not expected to be too long after an Hernia op.
