Obscure Long standing sequence broken

With the home draw today, our 6th of the season, we have broken a sequence going back to the 1953-54 season.  In 1952-53 we had 9 home league draws. In every season in tier two since then we have had exactly 5 home league draws:

1953-4 W9 D5 L7
1954-5 W10 D5 L6
1955-6 W11 D5 L5
1956-7 W12 D5 L4
1957-8 W7 D5 L9
2008-9 W9 D5 L9
