Not convinced JET (cool initials with great headline possibilities) will be used in the DM role. He seemed to have a lot of freedom today and found a lot of clever space between their midfield and back 4. Also I think its asking a lot of a fairly inexperienced youngster to have the mental discipline and physical toughness to protect a back 4 by himself. I think he'll feature more behind Sharp.

Rovers to be JET powered!

Plays the holding role very well at Arsenal and apparently is impressive as a center half too.

Martis doesnt fill me with confidence at all. So hopefully not and Hayter is playing well at the minute behing Sharpe. I would only bring Woods in for either Wilson, Hird or Oster.

Good line up Skeller', I would put JET in behind Billy for support, and Woods in M/field holding position.
BTW, I thought JET did well when he came on, looked tricky and created good space for himself.

Should we not consider Stock? He has had the injection in his back and if it settles down and he's able to train, he could be available. He'll need careful nursing though and will probably only be able to play a game a week.

E-T strikes me as the man to play at the forward point of the diamond.

Good to see Woods, Martis and Lockwood out warming up with the others. If they are fit, it gives SO'D the option to freshen things up.

I've had a similar problem to the one Stock has, and personally I think his career could be in serious doubt. The problem with cortisone type injections is that it only masks the problem and doesn't solve it and can make the problem worse in the long run. I had a cordial injection in mine and it worked for about 6 months then I was back to square one. Obviously the stress on Stocks back is far greater than what I will ever have to endure and considering this problem has blighted him for years I think it would be stupid to risk him until the problem is sorted properly. Even then, I was told by the physio that eventually sorted me that I will always be at risk of re-injury because the weakness in my spine will always be there, and surgery and altering structures sometimes creates other problems and even worse weakness. I have had to totally retrain my posture, how I get out of bed, lift things, and have to make sure I exercise my lower back regularly to prevent it stiffening up. And even with all those things in place it still gives me problems which as I get older will get worse as age deteriorates the discs regardless how healthy your back is.

All things considered, I think Stocky might have one hell of a fight on his hands.

Also Hayter could play the Copps/ Shiels or Oster role, and i think he would fit in fine. Also if woods isnt fit mutch would play there.
