Retford Rover ... before the internet you used to send me Rover's news by post and keep me updated during my Overseas exile . I now listen to you from Brussels on Rover's World and it's like being there so 'real' are your comments and your enthusiasm for the club we  love . Thanks Paul for all you have done for me as a fan in exile and for all you Roveristic local colour on 'Rovers by internet'!

no, but i have been trying to borrow some for this week, but to no avail, the club have not got the budget to buy new ones, think it's a conspiracy to keep me of the air ways.
great last saturday i had  a father and son come all the way from germany (cologne) to watch their first rovers game, they started to follow Rovers 4 months ago after buying Championship manager  and guiding them to the Champions league title, they listen to rovers player, and loved the hosptality, got a stadium tour had phots taken with Billy sharp and Sean, John Ryan  and cant wait to come over again,  brilliant story

How much are these bloody headphones Paul?

If the Rovers are saying they can't afford a pair, then, even if the things cost a thousand quid, we must be sailing SOOOO close to the wind that it's almost not credible. Keeping you on the air is surely an important part of keeping the paying online supporters happy? It's not marketing, but it damn well is influencing customer loyalty.

That is about the most bizarre statement I have ever heard from the Rovers. It's almost shameful. How much are they then Paul? Perhaps I should buy you a set - just to make the point.

Cheers

Hi Paul. First of all Happy Birthday, hope you had a great night out.

As I manage the P.A. section at Electromusic in Copley Rd. I would like to offer you a brand new pair of Headphones for your studio work free of charge.

It would be my pleasure to supply you with them, as although I don't know you personally, I am well aware of the work you have done for the Rovers and fellow supporters.
This is a serious offer Paul, assuming they are standard Stereo Headphones you need. I'll make sure you have a good quality pair for you to broadcast with. Please contact me on here or by PM and I'll sort it out for you. Pip. (Rover-n-Out)

Bob G.Forgive me but I'm not trying to tread on your toes here, as your offer to Paul of new headphones is a generous one. Pip.

Ha! That sounds a bit ominous Rover-n-Out.... How much are they then? 5 grand or something? Aagh!

I thought it was/is a ridiculous statement by the Rovers - unless they cost an absolute fortune. It's not only a way of maintaining and, I would hope, enhancing loyalty and involvement, but it's also a revenue stream in its own right. Paul is one of its main strengths. Why cut off your nose over a few hundred pounds when your face is too thin already?

Bed time!

Hi Paul. Will be only too glad to try and help. If they are specialised Headphones please do pop into the shop and I'll consult our install engineer as he will probably know what you are using and where to source them. Mon. Tues. Wed. best days to catch him in the shop. Pip.
