Celebration song/ Run out to song for next season

Think we need a bit of a change, what about this :)

Could see all fans bouncing to that as we score or as the lads come out the tunnel.

This should be our entrance song, it has been used before and should be used now lest we ever forget our fantastic return to the football league....

One Step Beyond is a great song...

...but its got nowt to do with Doncaster Rovers.

(Though it is more synonymous with Walsall for some reason)

For a Rovers related song with a beat I suggest this, as I have done for the best part of a decade;

Or for something less upbeat but more resonant there is always the opening 30 seconds of this;

Don't they play one step beyond at Ipswich or Bristol or QPR. I know it's one of them far flung places that i've been to this (or last) season.

How about after every game we draw:

Can I make a suggestion. What about involving the players and asking them what would get them stirred up.

Can't beat Motorhead. Although I suppose some 'pumping tunes' or 'hardcore beats' would be more in keeping with the 'buzzing' scene of Donny.

 :laugh:

Oops, not quite got the hang of posting these attachments.

Anyway, a good upbeat version of wild Rover. Could be played when players run out and/or can be adopted as an anthem. Would need the drummer to lead with the beat me thinks !!

If there is a change to what the players run out to maybe the worst people to decide would be the members of this forum.

Who was it who voted for \"The impossible Dream\"?

Everyone moans when it is played (Those who are listening that is)
It has to be the most depressing song ever played at a football ground.

or how about this?

I know it's played at most football grounds,but it's an ideal song to play just before kick off.

I'd love One Step Beyond would be great as a celebration tune, really does get you bouncing, as shown at Chelsea, but not as a running out tune. How about Walking out of the darkness ;-)
