Barnsley Quick out of the Blocks

Talking to a Barnsley supporting colleague today about their massive signing. obviously the guy was delighted and the other lad they've signed seems to be one with massive potential. I'm not sure whether he enjoyed the news that they'd signed a good CB or it was the fact that we'd missed out on one!

Either way, they are showing their intent and, dare I say it, ambition, early in the close season.


If you stand still in this game - you go backwards, as someone once said. I thought we had some ideas about making a challenge ourselves this season? I know 1 swallow does not a summer make, but its a blow to our plans already, IMO.
